Rev 22:2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, [was there] the tree of life, which bare twelve [manner of] fruits, [and] yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree [were] for the healing of the nations.
Rev 22:3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
Rev 22:4 And they shall see his face; and his name [shall be] in their foreheads.
Wow! The wannabe gardener in me is marveling at the idea of a tree that bears 12 different fruits! Imagine! And, the healer in me – massage therapist – likes the idea of leaves that can be used for healing.
What I just found out is the number 12, which as reflecting the symbolic perfection of redeemed man in terms of the “perfect” number, 12 signifies perfection of government in Scripture multiplied by divine order (Ten signifies divine order in scripture). 144,000 is the square of 12 times the cube of 10.
I just found a lot of information on numbers, so I am going to incorporate that info into this journal as I go, and as the numbers pop. In the prior post, I mentioned the numbers two and three.
TWO: This number can mean difference, division, or double portion.
THREE: In sacred Scripture the number 3 represents that which is solid, real, substantial, and something in its completeness. This number usually indicates something of importance or significance in God’s plan of salvation by identifying an important event in Salvation History. This number operates as a “sign-post” in Scripture study for the reader to “pay attention” to the significance of the next event. Three is the number of perfect completion for the Jews and for Christians. The number three symbolized the perfection of the Godhead = Trinity.
“The fact is that there is an invisible veil covering both the natural eyes and the spiritual understanding of men and women, and only when the veil is lifted or pierced can the realities of the invisible realm become visible.
There is a covering of some sort on our physical eyes which prevents us from seeing the activity of the spirit world. However, when we sleep, we are still able to see images through dreams or visions. In Scripture, men like the apostle John recorded these dreams and visions.”
This is why I told my son that he could not listen to rap or techno when he is going to sleep. If he wants to listen to music when he goes to sleep, he needs to listen to something that is edifying. He likes Josh Groban and Andrea Bochelli, so I told him that something more like that is ok. The reason is that the gates to the mind are open when we sleep. That secular rap has a lot of unclean spirits attached to it, and look at the messages of those songs – it’s nothing good.
Rev 4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door [was] opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard [was] as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
Rev 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him [was] called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
You see, a door must be opened for things to be revealed from heaven, but at the same time, a door must be open in us to receive that info. In sleep, that door is open, but you don’t want to invite the wrong spirit to come in, and that music will send them out and draw them in.
One of the questions that Perry poses in these pages is, “Why would God be concerned about revealing events to us that have not yet occurred?” It is simply to prepare us for an event, so that we can combat it. One thing I learned in reading this book is that just because God reveals something that may not be an appealing situation to you; meaning it could be something that is not a pleasant experience; does not mean that that situation is locked in stone.
In other words, just because God shows you that a potentially negative situation is coming; does not mean that we cannot intercede in prayer to change the outcome, or the situation itself. I always thought that once God showed you something, that was just how it was, and it never occurred to me that I had the power to alter the situation into a better outcome.
You see, when I was seeing things that God revealed to me in dreams previously, and even when my son, through his gift saw them, I did not know I could affect those warnings with prayer. Once I recognized that we were getting a warning, I was so busy trying to protect and/or prepare my son for what was coming, that it never occurred to me that I could alter it. I cannot stop the situation, but I can alter it somewhat. You should know however, that God controls the “somewhat.” The only other alternative I can see to altering a situation is this:
Mat 18:18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Mat 18:19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
Mat 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
